What We Fixed
When merging two people records, the system was firing automations, webhooks, and notifications as if those changes were made manually. For example, reassigning tags during a merge could trigger tag-based automations, and changing a person’s stage could fire webhooks.
Now, merging is treated as a data consolidation operation. Automations, webhooks, lead flow routing, and notifications are all suppressed during the merge process. Your data still merges correctly – the only difference is that no side effects are triggered.
