Cross-Team Lead Referrals

What’s New

You can now refer leads to other Sure Send teams directly from the CRM — the first cross-team collaboration feature in the platform.

Key Features

  • Multi-step referral flow — Search for a team, select which contact data to share, set referral terms, and review before sending
  • Status tracking — Follow each referral through its lifecycle: pending, accepted, active, closed, or declined
  • Bidirectional updates — Both sending and receiving teams can post status updates visible to the other side
  • Person sidebar integration — See all referrals for a contact at a glance with active-first sorting and status badges
  • Referral settings — Configure team categories, service areas, and referral fee defaults
  • Notifications — Get notified when referrals are accepted, declined, or updated

How It Works

  1. Click the Refer button from any contact’s page
  2. Search for and select a receiving team
  3. Choose which contact data to include in the referral
  4. Set terms (referral fee, notes) and send
  5. The receiving team can accept and import the contact into their CRM
