Bug Fix

Branch leaders can enable the dialer for their agents again

If you lead a branch under an enterprise account, the Enable Dialer button
never appeared next to your team members in Settings → Members. There was no
way to give a new agent dialer access, and no way to finish assigning them a
phone number — the Phone Provider page kept reporting that setup was still
required.

The control was only shown to teams that carry their own subscription plan.
A branch doesn’t: it’s billed on the parent enterprise account, so the plan on
the branch is empty and the button was hidden — regardless of your role.

What’s fixed

The dialer control now appears on a branch exactly as it does for a team on its
own plan — for the branch’s owner and its admins, since admins handle
day-to-day agent onboarding on enterprise branches. (On teams with their own
plan, dialer seats remain owner-only, like other billing.) The control acts on
your own team’s page only. From Settings → Members you can:

  • Enable the dialer for any agent in your branch
  • See Dialer On for agents who already have it, and turn it back off

Pricing follows your enterprise account. If your account includes the dialer,
the confirmation dialog says so and there’s no charge to your branch. If your
account bills the dialer per seat, you’ll see that per-seat price before you
confirm, and you’ll be prompted to add a payment method first if your branch
doesn’t have one on file.

Assigning phone numbers

Your branch’s managed phone number allowance is the number of agents who have
the dialer, so enabling it for an agent immediately frees up a number for them
in Settings → Phone Provider. Branch onboarding no longer needs support to
complete.
