A team that had switched on Dialer and SMS and also had a Sendblue line could
see its dialer misreported in settings: Voice calling not configured alongside a
Configure Voice button, 0 numbers assigned on a dialer that had numbers, and a
Twilio Account SID is missing error on pressing that button. Members of the same
team could be told they were not eligible for a phone number at all, with no way to
get one.
Nothing was actually wrong with those dialers. Both kinds of line are recorded the same
way internally, and several screens picked whichever of the two came first rather than
the one they meant. When a team’s Sendblue line came first, the dialer settings page
described the Sendblue line’s (empty) voice configuration, the Configure Voice
button tried to configure voice calling on a line that has none, and self-service number
provisioning looked for dialer details on it and found none.
Every one of those screens now asks for the dialer specifically, so a team with both
sees each of them described correctly. Switching the dialer on is no longer blocked on
teams that already have a Sendblue line, and turning the dialer off no longer touches
one.
