Account Setup: Bring In Your Data

This setting is available to Owners and Admins only.

Purpose: This is the final step in Account Setup. Once your system is configured, you are ready to bring in your existing contacts and data from your current platform.

What you can do here

Connect an integration to sync your existing database
If Sure Send supports an integration with your current platform, you can connect it and let the sync pull your contacts into Sure Send automatically. Go to Settings > Integrations to see which platforms are available and what data each one transfers.

Import contacts via CSV file
If your current platform does not have an available integration, or if you want more control over what comes in, you can export your data as a CSV file, clean it up, and import it into Sure Send. This is also the recommended path if your database needs cleanup before migration.

Good to know

Not all integrations transfer the same data. The amount and type of information that comes through depends on the platform you are migrating from, not Sure Send. Some integrations bring over contacts, tags, stages, and custom fields. Others may only bring contacts and basic fields. If your existing database needs cleanup, the CSV import path lets you scrub the data before it enters your new system. Take the time to review and clean your data before importing. Starting with clean data saves significant time down the road.
